FISH HOLD
The vessel has four refrigerated holds with a total capacity of 993.97 m3 as well as an 88.90 m3 freezing room and preparation area.
FACTORY EQUIPMENT
The vessel is equipped with a basic factory comprising of:
- 6 x plate freezers (horizontal 11 station)
- Transport conveyors port and starboard sides
- Tray racks forward
- Observer table and gutting station forward
- Cross conveyor and table
- Gutting and sorting tables
- Stocker ponds to sorting table and two BAADER heading machines, sorting and gutting belt to wash bins.
The aft factory equipment was removed during the refit, overhauled and fitted back after deck repairs.
The hydraulic piping and control valves were replaced and rerouted.
REFRIGERATION
1 x small BITZER compressor for domestic fridges.

CRANES
1.5 T PETREL rescue boat davit – installed new in 2019. New underdeck stiffening was installed.
3 x 2 T SWL derricks on main deck. Refurbished and load tested in 2019.
2 x 2 T SWL derricks on aft deck. Refurbished and load tested in 2019.
Two of the derricks have been taken out of service.
TYPE OF MAIN WINCHES
Hydraulic main winch with 2 warping drums on aft shaft and 4 auxiliary drums on forward shaft, all clutchable. Fitted with spooling gear. The entire winch was removed and completely overhauled in 2018/2019. The hydraulic motors and pumps were overhauled and the winch piping was replaced. The winch piping in the factory area was relocated from the deckhead to the deck level. The system was flushed on completion prior to commissioning.
DECK WINCHES
Various hydraulic derrick winches on trawl deck. Overhauled in 2019.
WINDLASS
Hydraulic windlass with two chain gypsies and two warping heads. Overhauled in 2019. New gear wheels fitted in 2019.
OUTHAUL WINCHES (YO YO’s)
2 x hydraulic outhaul winches on aft gantry.
AIR COMPRESSORS
2 x INGERSOLL RAND 7T2.
2 x small compressors (unknown).
FRESH WATER GENERATOR
