Narrow beam Norman 23 fitted with a raw water cooled BMC 1.5 marine engine connected to an Enfield outdrive. The engine is raw cooled via a new electric water pump providing sufficient flow to correctly cool the engine via the heat exchanger.
This boat has been refurbed. The engine has been stripped, checked and rebuilt with new piston rings, associated new gaskets, new fuel filters and has just had a full engine service. Engine room and engine has all been repainted. The boat is wheel steered with a new Teleflex control for the throttle and gears at the side of the helm and new throttle and gear cables fitted. The boat has just been out of the water for hull painting and re-antifouling the International anti fouling paint following painting with International Primercon. The cabin has also been repainted, the canopy has been pressure cleaned and treated, and a new solid fuel stove fitted in the cabin, with a hearth to protect surrounding areas to BSS requirements. This solid fuel stove will keep the boat nice and warm. The floor covering (click together flooring) has been newly fitted in the cabin and in the rear deck /cockpit Hexigrip anti slip floor boards are also brand new. The boat also comes with a recently fitted combined kitchen sink and single ring hob, mounted in a work top which is in good condition. There is also a newly fitted shower tray ready for the new owner to install a shower, which could be supplied by the broker. Portable style toilet. Additionally there is ample storage under the seating area, and a 12v TV. with remote control. The original foam for the seating/ foam mattress for the front berth can be included in the sale but the broker would recommend replacing it.
A solar panel is fitted to the cabin roof to charge the domestic battery, via MPPT controller. Batteries will also charge from the engine alternator. Both start and domestic batteries are new, as are all the fenders and corner fenders. The boat will come with a new BSS certificate when sold.

Rear cockpit with new Hexi grip floor boards. Engine box in Hexi board. Gas fired hot water cylinder in a cupboard in the cockpit, to provide hot water to the sink, operational condition TBC. Cabin with solid fuel stove and hearth, (newly Fitted) cabin seats and forward berth. Galley with sink and cooker. 12volt TV on a swivel bracket with remote control. 12v lighting to cabin, Small wardrobe.

GRP constructed cruiser from approximately the 1970's vintage. GRP hull freshly repainted to tidy appearance and hull fully antifouled.
GRP cabin freshly painted to tidy appearance, windows sealed. New front hatch made and fitted. Pulpit front rail removed for boat painting and refitted in re-strengthened deck. Canopy removed and pressure cleaned and re-waterproofed and repaired where required. New canopy fixing fitted to cabin sides.
Interior cabin painted to tidy where required. New solid fuel stove and flu fitted. Galley recently fitted to starboard side of the boat, including a combined sink and single gas hob. New floor fitted in cabin. Toilet compartment with Porta Potti style of toilet. Two side seats port and starboard in main cabin and front twin berth or double berth with infill cushions. (cushions can be supplied, but recommend replacement as no covers fitted to foam for this berth.)
Ropes and new side fenders and corner fenders fitted. Twin tunnel lights port and starboard of windscreen. Solar MPPT controller now refitted. showing hanging down in previous images. New throttle control fitted combined with new gear and throttle cables. Wheel steering, engine instrumentation. TV on swivel bracket and aerial on cabin roof.
Addition emergency out board bracket fitted to transom, which would accept small HP long shaft engine as a second emergency engine.
Tunnel lights x2 fenders and ropes.
Fully overhauled BMC 1.5 Raw water cooled engine. The engine has been fully stripped and rebuilt. New piston rings fitted to cure poor compressions. All main and small end bearings checked. Cylinder head overhauled new injectors fitted. All new gaskets fitted. Exterior of engine painted to tidy appearance. Engine bay also repainted in International Damboline bilge paint again to tidy appearance. New sound deadening panels fitted to side of engine bay and cover over engine. New electric pump for engine cooling activated as soon as engine starts via ignition. Engine runs well and should be economical in use, a little smoke on initial start as normal, then clears as engine warms up then idles and runs well.

Pulpit rail, substantial hand rail on roof for safe movement around the boat. Anti slip paint to decks to aid safe movement on decks when wet. Boat has been refurbished at Streethay Wharf Lichfield. Any additional work required on the boat can be carried out at the future owners request. We are a fully equipped boat yard with engineering and carpentry shops for any future repairs or enhancements. This boat is a tidy little cruiser with little or no additional work required, other than personalisation. Boat could be used as a holiday boat or due to the fitted stove a live aboard.
