This boat however, has been modified and is now powered by an 125hp outboard engine. A specially designed bracket has been fabricated to facilitate the outboard motor to the transom. Due to the popularity of these yachts David Sadler went on to design the Sadler 29, an unsinkable yacht as reported in the yachting press. Designed by Chuck Paine, of the Francis fame and the canoe stern, moulded by Northshore Yachts and fitted out by Victoria Marine with only fifty reported to have been built. These yachts were highly regarded as long distance cruisers. The extent of the refurbishment is very apparent.
