Dreamtime was based on the Tom Thumb design - steel, robust and roomy. She could be converted to gaff rig or cutter rig, I chose to experiment with a two masted junk rig. On the few light weather sails we did it worked well, tacking through 90 degrees. With 900kg lead ballast and 150kg steel pubchings she is stiff, having two people cross from one side of the deck o the other produced just about no change of heel.
