This is a lovely example of a 54ft Stephen Goldsbrough boat, hull no.46. She has had a lot of money spent on her over the past 3 years and there is a 2024 survey on the boat. The boat came out in 2024 after the present owner had her surveyed to be sand blasted and some spot welding done and was then 2 pac blacked. This is a nice example of the capable Scorpion 8.1 Rib that has done some big trips in the last 10 years: round the UK, Fleetwood to Guernsey return, Scotland and Ireland. The trailer was bought 8 years ago and the Shearwater Cabin was fitted by the current owner as he wanted the boat for long range cruising. This is a really classic Traditional Mid Engined Tug style boat built in 1994 with a beautiful 1952 Gardner. The engine was rebuilt by Danny Williamson in 1995. The boatman's cabin adds to the classic feel of the boat and she has lots of internal space. There is a dinette which drops down to make up a double bed and the boatman's cabin drops down to sa mall double. This boat was built by Formosa but to the spec of a Kelly Peterson 46 with a Fin and Skeg. The paperwork is for a Formosa 44 but she is actually the same design layout and dimensions as the Peterson 46 though clearly not an original Kelly Peterson.
